Life with a newborn is unpredictable. Everything they do is new and exciting, making parents overjoyed with immense love for their newest addition. This is exactly what I strive to capture and document in a newborn session.
Newborn sessions are designed to take place during your child's first 2-3 weeks of life. These sessions typically run longer than a traditional session, allowing time for feedings, diaper changes, outfit changes, soothing, etc. Each newborn session is different, because every baby is different. You can expect your local Massachusetts or Rhode Island newborn session with KNG Photography to be enjoyable, relaxing and memorable every step of the way. No complex newborn poses, tight swaddles, or fussy props. Just your family, your new baby, and your beloved pets in a relaxed and candid way!
Investment/Pricing
Full session includes a 1-1.5 hours lifestyle newborn session in your home (travel fees apply if outside of 25 miles from Millville, MA), online client gallery, minimum of 50-75 fully edited images and print release.

01. How long does it take to get our photos delivered? And how many edited photos can we expect to receive?
For newborn portrait sessions, you will receive a minimum of 50-75 fully edited photos with sneak peeks delivered within 1 week from your session date. Your final newborn photo album will be ready to view 2-3 weeks after your session date.
02. What does a typical In-home lifestyle newborn session look like with KNG photography?
You can expect to feel relaxed and at ease during your newborn session. The session is completely baby-led! Babies and children require frequent breaks, feedings, calming and changings. This is why newborn sessions with KNG Photography are scheduled for 1-1.5 hours, so no one feels rushed and anxious all of the photos you envision capturing get missed. We will be showcasing all of your love and connections with your new baby in all of the places you hang out! we will spend time in the nursery, master bedroom, family room or kitchen. There will be no forced swaddling or unnatural poses. It is all about capturing you and your new baby in your environment. No unrealistic, angelic over-edited baby photos here!
03. I do not know if my house is nice enough for an in-home Massachusetts newborn session. Should I go with a studio photographer instead?
As a newborn photographer in Central Massachusetts for the last 3 years, I can assure you that I have been inside many sizes and styles of homes. My goal for every single living situation is to photograph you and your family while showcasing the best features. For some, that’s amazing window light, for others it’s a feature wall in the nursery. Some homes have unique spaces like a shelf with beautiful plants or an area with amazing vases/bowls. No one’s whole home looks like a showpiece because it’s where you live! I have not entered a space that I feel didn't work or look great in photos. Upon booking your session, you will be given access to styling tips to help declutter your space and make a neutral background for your photos.
04. What if my budget is lower than what you charge?
Please still inquire! I try to accommodate all budgets to make sure families are able to get their memories captured. Custom quotes and session details can be made upon request.
05. I have no idea what to dress my newborn and the rest of the family in for our in-home lifestyle newborn photo session. Do you help us with outfits?
What to dress your newborn in and have the whole family's outfits coordinate can feel overwhelming and stressful! Upon booking your session with me, you will be given access to a style guide that will help you pick outfits that best fit your comfort and style, but also align with my light, airy and true to color editing style.
